Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over a cabinet meeting wherein he announced an increase in central employees’ and pensioners’ dearness allowance. The dearness allowance will increase by 4%, it has been revealed. As of right now, employees’ dearness allowance will grow from 42% to 46%.

By giving a sizable present before Diwali, the central government announced a 4% rise in the dearness allowance for central employees. The DA they receive will then rise from 42% to 46% as a result. It was previously anticipated that central staff might declare an increase in dearness allowance of 4% this time around. The government’s decision will result in a significant rise in salary and pension for around one lakh central employees and pensioners across the nation.

મોંઘવારી ભથ્થામા વધારો

1. Employees receive a Dearness Allowance in addition to their base pay. The dearness allowance will now rise to 46% following a 4% (or “DA Hike”) increase by the central government. It is available as of July 1st, 2023. The employees’ salaries will rise in tandem with the DA hike. The government first announced an increase in the dearness allowance (DA) for the year 2023 on March 24, 2023. As a result, employees and retirees began receiving the enhanced DA on January 1, 2023.

2. Amidst the current festivities, the eagerly anticipated decision was revealed, serving as a “Diwali gift” for countless central government employees and pensioners.

3. The rise in dearness allowance will help 68 lakh retirees and 47 lakh employees of the central government.
