Educational Qualification
Educational qualification required for Police Sub Inspector and Constable posts announced by Railway Recruitment Board is Graduate in any discipline and 10th passed respectively. That is, for the post of Police Sub-Inspector, the required qualification for the post of Graduate and for the post of Constable is fixed around 10th.
Salary scale
Under this recruitment drive, a total of 4660 posts are to be filled, out of which 4208 posts are for constables and 452 posts are for PSIs. After getting selected in this recruitment process the candidate will get the following salary.
₹35400 to Sub Inspector
21,700 to the constable
Age limit
The age limit for constable is 18 years to 28 years while for the post of inspector the age limit is fixed from 20 years to 28 years and reserved category candidates will be eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of Govt.
Application Fee
Talking about the application fee, general category candidates, OBC category candidates, AWS category candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹ 500 while for all category female candidates, a fee of ₹ 250 has been fixed and also ₹ 250 to change the application form. The application fee has to be paid online through Debit Card Credit Card and NetBanking as well as UPI.
